At Pigeon Lake Cabin Care we can check your property to ensure that it is secure during your absence, whether its for a vacation, winter retreat, business or time to shut down your cabin for the winter.

Don’t take risks with your property while you are away. Most people don’t read their home owners insurance policy, but if they did, they would notice that the policy won’t pay out for vandalism, damage and the like if the property has been vacant for more than 72 hours. If your property is left vacant for a longer period of time, say weeks or months, then your insurance company may treat the policy as completely void and any damage will have to be paid by you out-of-pocket. In other words, a vacant property can leave you uninsured.

Exterior walk around inspection and entry walk through.

Gold

Exterior walk around inspection of property and any vehicles for signs of damage or vandalism, entry walk through, varying lighting, drapes and curtains, flush toilets, run water, collect mail and flyers, etc.

Add ons: forwarding of mail via postal service or scan and email, watering plants, feeding
animals, first call for alarm monitoring (to attend the property if an alarm goes off for initial
inspection)

Equipment Available:

We have developed an online app to ensure no items are missed during your inspection and that an automatic email with picture's is sent after each check.

Additional Services

Key holding service – Lost keys? Ensure you have access to a spare set of keys at the lake, let us hold your spare key for you in our locked safe labeled by code to ensure your cabin's safety;
Attendance at your property for any third party work/services that need to be completed when you can't be there, ie. be at your property if a contractor like a plumber or electrician needs to do work, so you don’t have to;
Watering exterior plants, garden or grass;
Lawn maintenance;
Snow clearing; and
Concierge services are available - We can stock your fridge in anticipation of your return, just provide us with a list of items.
